We investigated a leakage in the hydraulic system by removing and rehabilitating the cylinders, from which the leakage presumably stemmed, and we also removed and checked all components of the hydraulic system to ensure there were no underlying issues. As suspected, we confirmed that the leaks originated with the cylinders, most likely from age and associated wear and tear to the system.
Our full scope of work included hydraulic operating system cylinders removal, inspection, rebuilding, and reinstallation, gate removal, ROV slot inspection, recoating, gate roller rehabilitation, gate seal procurement and installation, gate installation, and commissioning.
